We are thrilled to be able to offer our 4th 200 hour RYT Yoga Teacher Training program through Pranakriya Yoga. Pranakriya is one of the most highly respected Yoga Teacher Training schools in the country. It’s a deep program that is personally transformative as you experience this remarkable path of Tantric Hatha Yoga developed by Yoganand Michael Carroll.
Graduates of the 200 hour can go on to complete their 300 hour and their Yoga Therapy Teacher Training here at Main Street Yoga (formerly called ‘500 hour’). If you are local please come to the studio for some Pranakriya style classes and talk with our teachers about their experience. If you are from out of town we would love to have you visit sometime.

Please read requirements and deadlines carefully. The Pranakriya Yoga 200 hr. Teacher Training program is for yoga practitioners who have a love for yoga born out of practice. We help these practitioners develop the skills needed to share yoga with students as professional teachers.
Pranakriya Yoga is an approach to Hatha Yoga based on the Tantric teachings of Swami Kripalu, an ascetic monk who practiced yoga ten hours each day for over 30 years. Through his practices he gained a thorough understanding of all aspects of yoga. His teachings have been adapted for western students as Kripalu Yoga, developed by Amrit Desai; and as Pranakriya Yoga, developed by Yoganand Michael Carroll. The training takes place one weekend per month for 9 months. Pranakriya Yoga is founded on the principle that all yoga practices were originally meant to do the following:
- Cultivate inner awareness and sensitivity
- Raise energy
- Strengthen the body/mind container
- Dissolve the sense of self into universal consciousness
When asana and pranayama are practiced with these intentions they become powerful tools for self-transformation.
Dates of training and participation requirements:
The training is offered as 9 intensive weekends. All sessions of each weekend must be attended and full participation during each program session is expected. Any portion of the training that will be missed must be approved prior to program start.

Sessions times are usually as follows: (some studios will use different program hours)
Fridays 6pm to 9:30pm. Saturdays 8:30am to 6:30pm. Sundays, 8:30am to 6:30pm.
On Saturday and Sunday, the main meal break is at least 60 minutes.
1. $2900 plus $150 materials fee* 5 months out by October 23, 2017
2. $3100 plus $150 materials fee* by November 23, 2017
3. $3200 plus $150 materials fee* after November 24, 2017
*Materials Fee Due the first day of the program. Please bring either check or cash.
Payment Refund Policy
